I’ve been around construction and the trades pretty much my whole life, so over the years I’ve had the chance to work with a lot of different contractors, business owners, and personalities. You learn pretty quickly what works, what doesn’t, and how important the people around you are when you’re trying to build a successful business.

I had already been in the property inspection industry for about seven years before joining Atta-Boy. For me, it wasn’t about making some huge change overnight. I had gotten to know Dave, watched what he was doing with Atta-Boy, and could see that he was trying to build something bigger than just another inspection company.

What really attracted me was the team environment and the direction he wanted to take the company. Dave has always been pretty open about where he wants Atta-Boy to go, and he’s definitely not short on ideas.

Working with him, you also see how much time and energy he puts into the business. Like any growing company, not everything is perfect and there are always things being worked on, but there’s a real willingness to keep improving.

One of the things I appreciate most is that you don’t really feel like you’re out there completely on your own. There are other inspectors and franchisees you can talk to, bounce ideas off, or ask for help.

For me, Atta-Boy has been a good opportunity to continue building my own business while being part of a group that’s trying to grow together.

If someone was considering becoming an Atta-Boy franchisee, I’d tell them to have a conversation with Dave, ask a lot of questions, and see if it’s a good fit for them. If you’re willing to work, build relationships, and grow your own territory, there’s a lot of opportunity here and it’s exciting to see where the company can go.
